Karthik Subbaraj's 'Jigarthanda' comes to an end

Karthik Subbaraj's 'Jigarthanda' comes to an end

Jigarthanda is directed of Karthik Subbaraj of 'Pizza' fame. Siddharth and Lakshmi Menon play the lead roles. The film went on floors last month in Madurai and the team has been shooting continuously without a break. Siddharth who is done with the film has tweeted, "Karthik Subbaraj's 'Jigarthanda' coming to an end for me. 7 unforgettable weeks in Madurai. Special film. Grateful." 

Simhaa and Karuna play supporting cast. Music by Santhosh Narayanan. The film is produced by Aadukalam producer 'Kathiresan'.

Ganesh Venkatraman wraps Ivan Vera Mathiri

Ivan Vera Mathiri (IVM) starring Vikram Prabhu, Surabhi, Ganesh Venkatraman and Vamsi is directed by Saravanan of Engeyum Eppothum fame. Ganesh who plays a pivotal role in the film as a cop has finished shooting his portions. The film is almost complete except for the songs. IVM is produced by Lingusamy and UTV.

Dhanush off to London for his birthday

Dhanush is on cloud nine following the success of his Bollywood debut film Raanjhnaa and the rave reviews he has been receiving for his performance in Maryan. The actor turns 30 on Sunday, July 28. He has left to London to celebrate his birthday along with Siva Karthikeyan and Sathish of 'Ethir Neechal fame'. Dhanush had tweeted, "On my way to London with my besties for my 30th birthday." Anirudh will join Dhanush in London after Vanakkam Chennai audio launch.

Vannakkam Chennai wrapped

The shooting of Vanakkam Chennai starring Shiva and Priya Anand in the lead roles has been wrapped. Priya Anand had tweeted, "Wrapped Shoot. Vanakkam Chennai Is Coming To An End." The romantic comedy film is directed by Kirutiga Udhayanidhi. The audio of the film will be launched tomorrow (July 27). Anirudh has scored the music and the album is most awaited. The film is produced by Red Giant Movies.

'Tera Rasta Mein Chhodoon Na' song from Chennai Express

Chennai Express starring Shahrukh Khan and Deepika Padukone is directed by Rohit Shetty. The release date of "Chennai Express" has been pushed by a day and the much awaited film will now hit theatres on August 9. Checkout 'Tera Rasta Mein Chhodoon Na' song from the film!
