Hridayam starring Pranav Mohanlal, Kalyani Priyadarshan and Darshana Rajendran in the lead roles is written and directed by Vineeth Sreenivasan, the son of veteran actor-filmmaker Sreenivasan, who has worked with Mohanlal in several films. Hridyam is one of the most-awaited films in Mollywood and also marks Pranav's third film. It has started rolling today. Actor Prithviraj Sukumaran has recorded a song in his voice for the film.

Pranav Mohanlal and Kalyani Priyadarshan will share screen space for the first time in Hridayam. Hridyam produced by Visakh Subramaniam under the banner Merryland Cinemas and co-produced by Nobel Babu Thomas is slated for Onam 2020 release.
