Dhanush is said to have signed a new film with director Suraj of 'Alex Pandian' fame. The duo had earlier worked together in Padikkadhavan and Mappillai. Buzz is that Anirudh has been roped in to score the music for the film. Velraj will handle the camera. The rest of the cast and crew are yet to be finalised. An official confirmation is awaited soon.

Dhanush's Nayyandi with director Sargunam is inching towards completion. The Maryan actor will team up with KV Anand next for a new project. Dhanush - Vetrimaran film is likely to start rolling in November.

Jithan Ramesh updates on Jilla

The third schedule of Jilla is currently in progress. The shooting is progressing at a brisk pace in and around Chennai. Producer Jithan Ramesh has updated on the status of the film in his microblog. He had tweeted, "Raavum pagaluma shooting bahut tezzi se chalrahi hain. Ilayathalapathy Vijay, Kajal Agarwal and Parota Soori Combo!" Jilla is directed by Nesan and music by Imman. The film is produced by Super Good Films.
