Allu Arjun is basking in the success of his recently released Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo. He will next teaming up with director Sukumar for the third time after Arya and Arya 2. The film is tentatively named AA20 and it will see Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna romancing on screen for the first time. The film was officially launched in October 2019. 

Earlier, it was reported that Vijay Sethupathi is likely to play the antagonist in AA20. In a recent media interaction for Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, Allu Arjun confirmed that Vijay Sethupathi will be playing the baddie in his next film. Vijay Sethupathi started playing the role of an antagonist with the Rajinikanth starrer Petta. He is also playing a negative character in Vijay starrer Master. 

AA20 is produced by Mythri Movie Makers in association with Muttamsetty Media, and the music will be composed by Devi Sri Prasad. The film is reportedly based on red sanders smuggling and the story will be set against the backdrop of Seshachalam forest, the hilly region of Tirumala.
