The shooting of Ajith- Sirutha Siva film is progressing in a brisk pace. The team had recently shot two songs in Switzerland with the lead pair Ajith and Tamanna. Devi Sri Prasad who is scoring the music has updated about the two songs in his microblog. He had tweeted, "All Thala fans, out of two songs shot in Swiss, 1 is a Cute Romantic Duet and 2 is a very different Folk Dance Duet.!! Hope you all Love them!!" The film is slated for Pongal release next year.

Sippai third schedule begins

Gautham Karthik is currently busy shooting for 'Sippai' and the Tamil remake of Telugu film 'Ala Modalaindi'. He has joined the Sippai team for the third schedule. He had tweeted, "First day of Sippai third schedule going great. Day and night shoot!! Ready to rock!" Sippai is directed by Saravanan of 'Silambattam' fame and Lakshmi Menon plays the female lead. Music by Yuvan.

Neram girl for Udhayanidhi?

Udhayanidhi Stalin after wrapping SR Prabakaran's 'Idhu Kathirvelan Kadhal' is set to begin work on his his third film titled 'Nanbenda' to be directed by Jagadish, an associate of director Rajesh. Nazriya Nazim of Neram fame has been approached for the leading lady. Nothing has been firmed up yet. Santhanam plays a pivotal role. Harris Jayaraj is set to score the music. 

Nazriya upcoming projects in Tamil include Nayyandi, Thirumanam Ennum Nikkah and Raja Rani.

Vijay and Amala Paul do a rope dance

Thalaivaa starring Vijay and Amala Paul in lead roles is directed by AL Vijay. Sources add that there is a rope dance in the film for which Vijay and Amala Paul had danced. Both of them had put in a lot of effort for this particular song which was shot in Australia. The song we hear would be one of the highlight in the film and will be a visual treat for the audience as well. Music by GV Prakash. The film is slated for release next month. The film is likely to be censored by the end of this month. Thalaivaa is produced by Chandraprakash Jain.

The Fifth Estate Trailer

The Fifth Estate is an upcoming American thriller film about the news-leaking website WikiLeaks starring Benedict Cumberbatch as its editor-in-chief and founder Julian Assange with Daniel Brühl as the former spokesperson of the website Daniel Domscheit-Berg.  It is directed by Bill Condon. The film is co-produced by DreamWorks and Participant Media and will be released on October 11, 2013.
