Nivin Pauly's new film 'Padavettu' has started rolling in Kannur today. Aditi Balan of 'Aruvi' fame has been roped in as the leading lady opposite Nivin. Aditi who is making her Mollywood debut with Padavettu shared the news on her social media page.

The film will be directed by debutante Liju Krishna, also marks the maiden production venture of actor Sunny Wayne, who is bankrolling it under the banner of Sunny Wayne Productions. Govind Vasantha of '96 fame' is the music composer. Nivin Pauly shared pictures from the film sets.

Liju Krishna has previously directed plays and short films. He had directed the award-winning play called 'Moment Just Before Death', which was also funded by Sunny Wayne. Nivin Pauly's upcoming films include Thuramukham and Gauri.
