Thalaivaa getting ready for censor

Vijay's 'Thalaivaa' is gearing up for release in August. The post production work is happening in full swing and has reached the final stages. Thalaivaa will be released in Dobly Atmos and the Atmox mix will happen shortly. The film is likely to be censored by the end of this month. The makers are planning to release the film either on August 9 for Ramzan or August 15 for the long Independence Day weekend. 

Directed by AL Vijay, Vijay and Amala Paul play the lead roles. Music by GV Prakash. The film is produced by Chandraprakash Jain.

Harris Jayaraj has scored the music. Sony Music has acquired the audio rights. Arya and Anushka play the lead roles. The film is produced by PVP Cinemas.

The team had left to Pune to shoot for a song choreographed by dance master Shobi. The song shoot has been wrapped and the team is heading back to Chennai. Music by Drums Sivamani. Arulnidhi and Bindu Madhavi will play the lead roles in Simbudevan's next film titled 'Oru Kanniyum Moondru Kalavanigalum'. The latest to join the cast is Ashritha Shetty who made her debut with 'Udayam NH4'. Bagavathi Perumal of Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Kaanom fame will also be seen in an important role. The movie is touted to be a rural based comedy film. The film will go on floors from today.
