Pizza Producer acquires Kalyana Samayal Sadham

Pizza Producer acquires Kalyana Samayal Sadham

Kalyana Samayal Saadham (KSS) starring Prasanna and Lekha Washington in lead roles is a hilarious comedy film centered around a big fat south Indian wedding. Producer CV Kumar of Pizza and Soodhu Kavvum fame has acquired the distribution rights of the film jointly with Abi TCS Studios.

The audio of the film is expected to be out soon. The single track 'Mella Siriththai' has already received good response from the audience. KSS is directed by R. S. Prasanna. Music by Arrora. The film is produced by Arun Vaidyanathan and Ananth Govindan.

Jai in Vishal's film

Vishal is currently shooting for Suseenthiran's 'Pandiyanadu' and is eagerly awaiting the release of 'Pattathu Yaanai' which is set to hit the screens on July 26. Vishal who has turned producer with Pandiyanadu is all set to produce his next film. Jai has been roped in to play the lead and the film will be directed by Thiru of 'Samar' fame. Music score by Thaman. The heroine is yet to be finalised and the film is expected to go on floors by the end of next month.

Arulnidhi's 'Thagararu' gears up for release

Thagararu starring Arulnidhi and Poorna is directed by Ganesh Vinayak and produced by Dhayanidhi Alagiri's 'Cloud Nine Movies'. The post production work is inching towards completion and the makers are planning to release the film in August. Dharan has scored the music. 

Simbu shoots in London

Simbu is currently in London to shoot for a song for VTV Ganesh's 'Inga Enna Solludhu'. Simbu has penned the lyrics for the song Kutty Payale. Dharan has scored the music. Simbu will be shaking his legs for the song which is being shot in London. Simbu had tweeted, "Shooting a song from Monday for VTV Ganesh film Inga Enna Soludhu' in London." After wrapping the shoot Simbu is likely to return back on the 20th of this month. 

VTV Ganesh and Meera Jasmine play the lead roles. Santhanam plays a pivotal role. The film is directed by Vincent Selva.

Rumour Mill: Thalaivaa censored

Vijay's most awaited 'Thalaivaa' is gearing up for August release. The makers are planning to release the film on August 9. Rumour mills are abuzz in K-Town that Thalaivaa has been censored and the film has got a clean 'U' certificate. Dhananjayan of UTV has cleared the air in his microblog. He had tweeted, "Just spoke to Director Vijay and he confirmed that film Thalaivaa is yet to be censored. Don't believe in rumours." Vijay and Amala Paul play the lead roles in Thalaivaa directed by AL Vijay.

'Phata Poster Nikla Hero' Official Trailer

Shahid Kapoor and Ileana D'Cruz play the lead roles in Phata Poster Nikla Hero directed by Rajkumar Santoshi. The romantic comedy film is set to hit the screens on September 20.
