Police force had to be deployed in to bring a chaotic situation under control, after Vijay fans who had thronged a theater for catching Bigil's 1 AM show at Krishnagiri started pelting stones and destroying public property over the showtime delay.

The Tamil Nadu government had granted permission at the ninth hour for Bigil's special shows and this eventually lead to KDM delay causing theater owners in that area to post-pone the FDFS by two hours.

This seems to have angered the ticket buyers and a video clip of some of them going haywire with the vandalizing is currently circulating on the internet.
