Actor Jai is all happy and excited to have signed his new project with Dayanidhi Azhagiri's 'Cloud Nine Movies'. About the new project Dayanidhi Azhagiri has tweeted, "Just finished putting together my next film. The male lead is Jai and director is Saravana Rajan (co director of Venkat Prabhu). Music by Anirudh, editing by Praveen and Srikanth, Art director Ramalingam. DOP and the Female lead will be announced soon. Title is not sealed yet. It's a hilarious script! Loved every scene of it. A total fresh script! Shooting to start in the month of August"

Premgi in a Malayalam film

Premgi Amaren has done a cameo role in a Malayalam film titled North 24 Kaatham starring Fahadh Faasil and Swati in the lead roles. He plays a Tamil guy and his role is said to be crucial in the film. He had shot for his portions in Kerala for 2 days. His upcoming films include Briyani and Maanga. He is also composing music for the films Ennamo Nadakkuthu and Maanga.

Remya Nambeesan sings for Vijay Sethupathi

Rummy starring Vijay Sethupathy, Gayathrie, Aishwarya and Soori is directed by debutant Director Balakrishnan. Rummy is a village-based, college love story set in the backdrop of 1980s. Imman is scoring the music. Remya Nambeesan of 'Pizza' fame has sung a song in the film which will feature Gayathrie of NKPK fame and not Vijay Sethupathi, her Pizza co-star. Remya has already sung songs in Malayalam films.
