If the recent buzz is anything to go by, then evicted Bigg Boss contestant Tharshan who survived 98 days in the reality show, has been roped in for an important role in Kamal Haasan's Indian 2. While an official confirmation on the same is awaited, it is being suggested that Tharshan who was one of the strong title contenders, was called by Haasan after his shocking exit and the actor couldn't be happier to accept the role offered to him. 

A sequel to the 1996 hit film Indian, Indian 2 directed by Shankar is currently being filmed at Sriperumbudur where the team will shoot till October 7, 2019. Bollywood actor Anil Kapoor was recently rumoured to be joining the film soon, after an image of the actor with director Shankar went viral online.
