Critically acclaimed filmmaker Lijo Jose Pelliserry’s Jallikattu that has been creating sensational waves from the time of its first look posters has got the trailer unveiled now. With a running length of 2 minutes 42 seconds, we are given a clear picture about what the film is all about. And what’s more intriguing is the technical brilliance and dialogues that intensifies the expectations. The trailer begins with the narration through the eyes of an old man, who speaks about the nature of the native land that is still dominated by the animals. Apparently, we see the visuals of entire village preparing for a big hunt and yes, it’s all for ruffian bull, which has escaped from clutches of its butcher. What shows up as yet another surprise is the final dialogue, where Antony Varghese holds a riffle pointing towards crowds running from farthest distance and another character saying, “Human meat is always the tastiest meat when compared to other animals.” In this aspect, Lijo seems to be depicting that humans are nothing but tw0-legged animals. The final shot in the trailer, where we see the multiple characters just choking a person, who is striving on his part to escape offers some Goosebumps as well.
As on whole, the cinematographic appeal and the narrative part is really appreciable, which increases the expectation levels to watch the movie.
