Atharva's 'Irumbu Kuthirai' starts rolling
Atharva who was highly appreciated for his stunning performance in 'Paradesi' has started shooting for his next film titled "Irumbu Kuthirai'. The film went on floors yesterday and began with a formal pooja. The film touted to be an action entertainer is directed by Yuvaraj, a former assistant director of Arivazhagan of 'Eeram' fame.
Atharva plays the role of a bike racer. Music by GV Prakash. The cast also includes Johnny Tri Nguyen of '7am Arivu' fame, Manobala and Jagan. The film is produced by AGS Entertainments.

Siva Karthikeyan to team up with Bhoopathy Pandian
Siva Karthikeyan is on a roll in Kollywood following the success of Ethir Neechal. We had earlier reported that Siva Karthikeyan had signed a film with Lingusamy's production house 'Thirupathi Brothers'. The latest we hear is that the project will be helmed by Boopathy Pandian of 'Malai Kottai' fame. The team is in the lookout for a suitable heroine. Music score by Sathya. The film will start rolling in September.
Boopathy Pandian is currently busy with Vishal's 'Pattathu Yaanai'. Siva Karthikeyan's 'Varutha Padatha Valibar Sangam' is inching towards completion.
Grand fight sequence in Kochadaiyaan
Superstar's 'Kochadaiyaan' is one of the most awaited films. A grand fight sequence in the middle of the ocean featuring Rajinikath is said to be the highlight of the film. Soundarya who is helming the project has said, "It will be an elaborate fight sequence involving a lot of ships and people. Also a good number of dolphins will be part of it. In another fight sequence in the film, the king (Kochadaiiyan) will be fighting other animals as well."
The cast includes Rajinikanth, Deepika Padukone, Sarathkumar, Jackie Shroff, Shobana, Aadhi and Nasser. A.R. Rahman has scored the music
'Ala Modalaindi' remake second schedule begins
Gautham Karthik is currently busy shooting for Sippai and the Tamil remake of Telugu film 'Ala Modalaindi'. The actor has tweeted, "'Ala Modalaindi' remake second schedule starts today!! Am in Hyderabad!" The film is directed by Ravi Thyagarajan. Rakul Preeth Singh plays the female lead.
