Siva Karthikeyan who has impressed the audience as an actor has donned a new avatar as a singer. Siva Karthikeyan is currently shooting for Varutha Padatha Valibar Sangam (VPVS). He has sung a song in VPVS. Imman who is scoring the music for the film has tweeted, "Very happy to introduce Thambi Sivakarthikeyan as a singer for a racy folk song in Varuthapadatha Vaalibar Sangam" 

Sri Divya plays the female lead. Sathyaraj and Soori play pivotal roles. The film is directed by directed by Ram Jay, a former assistant of Rajesh.

Dhanush and Sonam to endorse Lux

After setting the screen on fire with their sizzling chemistry in latest Bollywood film ‘Raanjhanaa’, actors Dhanush and Sonam Kapoor will be seen together again for a television commercial. Apparently, both the stars have been signed on as the brand ambassadors of soap giant Lux.

Announcing Dhanush and Sonam as the new face of Lux, Sudhir Sitapati, GM of Hindustan Unilever said that they are perfect to endorse their brand. He said, “We always tried to be a little ahead of the game, and along with roping in established stars, we also try to rope in tomorrow’s stars. Sonam is a great style icon and Dhanush is an authentic romantic hero.”

Challenging days ahead for Siddharth

Siddharth is currently busy shooting for 'Pizza' fame Karthik Subbaraj's 'Jigarathanda'. Lakshmi Menon plays the female lead. About the film shooting he had tweeted, "First start to finish shoot experience. Wrapping Jigarthanda in two months straight. Hectic but exciting way to shoot a film."

Siddharth will then start shooting for Vasantha Balan's 'Kaaviya Thalaivan'. He had tweeted, "Then on to Vasantha Balan's 'Kaaviya Thalaivan'.  Challenging 5 months ahead. Need all the help and positive energy I can get!"

Cameraman replaced for Vadivelu's 'Thenali Raman'

Vadivelu is facing the camera again for his comeback film Thenali Raman. The film shooting is progressing at a brisk pace and the first schedule of the film was wrapped recently. The film is directed by Yuvaraj of Potta Potti fame. The director who had issues with cameraman Arthur Wilson has replaced him with cameraman Ramnath Shetty, who will join from the second schedule. Music by Imman. The film is produced by AGS Entertainments.
