Karthi starrer Kaithi directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj might have got its release confirmed for October, but there are some reports stating that it is still eyeing a Diwali release. According to the reports from trade circles, Vijay’s Bigil has already registered major allotments of screens. In addition, Vishal-Sundar C’s Action and Vijay Sethupathi’s Sanga Tamizhan are also eyeing for the same occasion as well.

Usually, when it comes to Diwali releases, the theatre owners and distributors majorly prefer  movies with A-league stars and ones that have family entertainer formulas. In this aspect, we need to wait and watch if any among these releases – Action, Sanga Tamizhan & Kaithi can join this Diwali league alongside Vijay’s Bigil.
