UTV's next release after TVSK
The production house UTV has announced 'Ivan Veramathiri' as their next release after TVSK. Sundar C's comedy caper TVSK which released on June 14 has got a good opening at the Box Office. Ivan Veramathiri starring Vikram Prabhu and Surabhi in the lead roles is directed by Saravanan of Engeyum Eppodhum fame. Music by Sathya. The film is produced by Lingusamy’s Thirrupathi Brothers jointly with UTV. The film is set to hit the screens in September.

Mysskin's film sans heroine
Director Mysskin is currently busy shooting for 'Onaiyum Attukuttiyum' starring Shri of 'Vazakku En' fame. The film is produced by his own production house 'Lone Wolf Productions'. Mysskin will also be playing the role of a villain in the film. While there were earlier reports that the film will have no songs, we now hear that there will be no heroine in the film. Ilayaraja will be working on the background score of the film. The film is likely to hit the screens in September.
AR Rahman confirms Nedunchalai audio launch date
'Nedunchalai' is directed by Krishna of 'Sillunu Oru Kadhal' fame. AR Rahman had agreed to launch the audio. The team was waiting for AR Rahman's approval to announce the audio launch date based on his availability. The audio launch date has now been confirmed as July 1. Aari of Maalai Pozhudhin Mayakkathilae fame and newcomer Shivada Nair play the lead roles. Music is by Sathya.
Desingu Raja release date
‘Desingu Raja' directed by Ezhil of 'Manam Kothi Paravai' fame is touted to be a full-length comedy movie. Vimal and Bindu Madhavi play the lead roles. The audio of the film was launched on June 19. Music by Imman. The film is set to hit the screens on July 19. The movie is produced by P. Madhan of ‘Escape Artists Motion Pictures’.
Vikram Prabhu and Sarathkumar team up!
Vikram Prabhu and Sarathkumar will be seen together in the Tamil remake of Malayalam film Ustaad Hotel. The film will be produced by Listin Stephen joinlty with Sarathkumar and Radhkiha Sarathkumar under the banner Magic Frames.
Dulquer Salman, Thilakan(late) and Nithya Menon played the lead roles in the original. The film was directed by Anjali Menon. The film earned critical acclaim and was one of the major commercial successes in Malayalam cinema in the year 2012.
