Madha Gaja Raja (MGR) starring Vishal, Santhanam, Anjali and Varu Sarathkumar is an action comedy film directed by Sundar C. Sundar C had completed the film before starting work on TVSK. The film produced by Gemini Film Circuit was lying in the cans for quite sometime. The film will finally see the light of day soon. The makers are planning to release the film by the end of July. Vijay Antony has scored the music.

Vishnu signs a new film

Actor Vishnu of 'Neerparavai' fame has signed a new film. He had tweeted, "My next project is going to be with Sathyajothi films. Will update title and other details soon. Its going to be a situational romantic comedy." Vishnu is currently shooting for 'Arivudainambi Kaliya Perumal'. Bindhu Madhavi plays the female lead. The film is produced by Srinath Raju and is directed by Ethan fame Suresh.

Santhanam not part of Sasikumar's film

Sasikumar will be playing the lead in a bilingual film to be produced by Kannada producer K. Manju. There were earlier reports that Santhanam would be teaming up with Sasikumar for the first time in this film titled ‘Brahman’. The latest we hear is that Santhanam is not part of the project and Parotta Soori has been approached for Santhanam’s role. The film is to be directed by Socrates, a former assistant to Kamal Haasan.

Veteran actor Sathyaraj has been roped in to play a pivotal role in Sigaram Thodu. Sigaram Thodu is directed by Gaurav of Thoonganagaram fame starring Vikram Prabhu and Monal Gajjar in the lead roles. The film is produced by UTV and music by Imman. 

Dhananjayan of UTV had tweeted, "Yes, Sathyaraj has been signed for 'Sigaramthodu' with Vikram Prabhu for Gaurav Narayanan project. Shooting from 1st July with the team." Sathyaraj's upcoming films include Thalaivaa, VPVS, Chennai Express and SS Rajamouli's 'Baahubali'

It's a schedule wrap for IKK

A month long schedule of 'Idhu Kathirvelan Kadhal' starring Udayanidhi Stalin and Nayantara has been wrapped. Udayanidhi had tweeted, "IKK - End of a 30 days schedule! Now just 10 days of talkie portion and 5 songs shoot remaining! Waiting for the next schedule!" IKK is directed by S.R. Prabakaran. Music by Harris Jayaraj. The film is produced by Red Giant Movies.
