Hrithik Roshan's Super 30 declared tax-free in Bihar

Hrithik Roshan's latest outing Super 30 hit the screens worldwide on July 12. The film is based on the life of mathematician Anand Kumarbest known for his Super 30 programme, which he started in Patna, Bihar in 2002, and which coaches underprivileged students for IIT-JEE.  Super 30 has been declared tax free by Bihar Government. Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi made the announcement on Monday.

 

Anand Kumar took to social media to thank Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Sushil Kumar Modi for the decision. "Thanks a lot CM Nitish Kumar ji and Deputy CM Sushil Kumar Modi ji making Super 30 tax free. It will help more and more people see the film," he tweeted. Hrithik Roshan also expressed his gratitude and tweeted, "This is amazing Anand Sir. Thank you CM Nitish Kumar and Deputy CM Sushil Kumar Modi for this." 

 

Hrithik Roshan's film has received mixed reviews from the critics and audience. Super 30 has collected over Rs. 50 cr in its opening weekend at the domestic box office. Directed by Vikas Bahl, the film also stars Mrunal Thakur, Pankaj Tripathi, Nandish Sandhu and Amit Srivastava in pivotal roles.
