Ajith is currently in Hyderabad shooting for his 54th film directed by Siruthai Siva. Tamanna plays the female lead and the film shooting is progressing well. Devi Sri Prasad is scoring the music. The music composer had tweeted, "Regarding Thala film, composing in full swing!! Made a very different INTRO song for which Ajith sir called and gave lovely compliments!!" Santhanam, Vidyullekha Raman, Vidharth, Munish, Bala and Sohail are also part of the cast.

Vishal and Samantha in TVSK

Sundar C's comedy caper starring Siddharth, Hansika and Santhanam is set to hit the screens on June 14. The latest we hear is that Vishal and Samantha have done a cameo in the film. Siddharth has tweeted, "TVSK will see cameos from Vishal & Samantha. Cute, brief appearances that go a long way. June 14th. Get ready" The film will release simultaneously in Telugu as 'Something Something' on June 14.

Thalaivaa and Pizza 2 in Dolby Atmos

Thalaivaa and Pizza 2 - The Villa will be mixed and released in Dolby Atmos. Rajnikanth's 'Sivaji 3D', Life of Pi and The Hobbit are few films that were released in Dolby Atmos. Thalaivaa starring Vijay and Amala Paul is directed by AL Vijay. The film is slated for a release in August. Pizza 2-The Villa starring Ashok Selvan and Sanchitha Shetty is directed by debutant Deepan Chakravarthy. The film shooting is wrapped. The release date is yet to be announced.

Dayanidhi Azhagiri on Dhanush-Vetrimaran project!

The successful combo of Dhanush and Vetrimaran will be teaming up once again for a new project to be produced by Dayanidhi Azhagiri's 'Cloud Nine Movies'. The project was announced long time back but didn't take off due to various reasons.

Dayanidhi Azhagri has now updated on the status of the project in his microblog. He had tweeted, "Lot of people have been asking me about VetriMaaran and Dhanush combo movie. Pre-production has started. VetriMaaran and his directors team are leaving this week to check out on a few locations. Shooting will start in the last quarter of 2013! It is a very important and interesting script. So special care is being taken by both the production and direction team."

Eswar Gomathi is a comedy entertainer directed by 'Kandha Kottai' director S.Sakthivel. Debutant Velu and Anaswara play the lead roles. Bala of Vijay TV 'Kanaa Kaanum Kaalangal' fame provides the comic relief. The film has been censored with an 'U' certificate and is expected to hit the screens soon.
