The film is directed by Pon Ram, a former associate of Rajesh. The film is said to be an out and out comedy entertainer. The film shooting is inching towards completion. Music by Imman. Thagararu starring Arulnidhi of 'Mounaguru' fame and Poorna is directed by Ganesh Vinayak. The film shooting was wrapped yesterday. The film is a rural flick set in the backdrop of Madurai. Thagararu is produced by Dhayanidhi Alagiri's 'Cloud Nine Movies'. Music score by NR Ragunanthan.

Pizza 2 hero signs his next film

Ashok Selvan of Soodhu Kavvum fame is playing the lead in Pizza2 - The Villa directed by Deepan Chakravarthy. The actor has signed his next film titled 'Thegidi' to be directed by Ramesh. Music by Niwas. This film is also being produced by ThiruKumaran Entertainments. Camera will be cranked by Dinesh Krishnan and editing by Leo John Paul. The film will start rolling in July.

The Laddo team is back!

After the success of Kanna Laddu Thinna Aasaiya, the superhit combo of Santhanam, Sethu and Vishaka Singh are coming together for a new project titled 'Vaaliba Raaja'. The film will be directed by Sai Gokul Ramnath, a former associate of director KV Anand. The team is currently in the lookout for another female lead. The film shooting will begin on June 19.

Kajal not pairing with Kamal Haasan

Kamal after wrapping Vishwaroopam 2 is set to direct a film for Lingusamy. Kajal Agarwal was approached to play the female lead opposite Kamal Haasan. The pretty lass has rejected the offer citing date issues. She has also apologised to Kamal Haasan for not being able to accommodate the dates required for the project.

Making of Raanjhanaa Song

Dhanush's maiden Bollywood film 'Raanjhanaa' is gearing up for release on June 21. The movie is directed by Anand L Rai and music is by AR Rahman. Check out the making of the song!
