Music director Anirudh has crooned a song for Gautham Karthik's untitled film, which has music by Imman. Imman was happy with the output of the song and he had tweeted "Recorded Anirudh's voice for Gautham Karthik's next untitled project, million thanks to Anirudh!" The song is for the remake of 'Ala Modalaindi', and it is directed by Ravi Thyagarajan.

Vikraman elected new president of TANTIS

Tamil director Vikraman has been elected as the new president of the Tamil Nadu Film Directors Association (TANTIS) after he defeated fellow director Visu by a thumping majority of 155 votes in the election that concluded Sunday. Vikraman takes the place of veteran director Bharathiraja, who quit recently following an altercation within the association.

Ya Ya audio release date

'Ya Ya' is a comedy caper directed by Rajasekaran, a former associate of director Rajesh starring Shiva, Santhanam in lead roles. Dhansika pairs opposite Shiva while 'Kadhal' Sandhya will be seen opposite Santhanam. The audio of the film is likely to be released on June 19. Vijay Ebenezer of 'Kalakalappu' fame has scored the music. The teaser of the film was released recently. The film shooting is inching towards completion.

Simbu croons for Manchu Manoj

Simbu and Manchu Manoj recently sung a song together for Manoj's upcoming Telugu flick 'Potugadu'. Nathalia Kaur, Sakshi Chowdhary and Simran Kaur Mundi are playing female lead roles. The film Potugadu is directed by Pawan Wadeyar. Chakri and Achu are providing tunes for the film. Simbu had earlier sung a song in Jr NTR’s 'Baadshah' and Mahat Ragavendra's 'Backbench Student'.

Kamal's next film gets a title?

Kamal Haasan is currently busy with the shooting of Vishwroopam 2. The legendary actor is next set to direct a film for Lingusamy. The latest we hear is that the film has been titled 'Uthama Villain". Kamal will be essaying a role of a villain in the film. Crazy Mohan will work on the story and dialogues. Interestingly Vivek will be teaming up with Kamal for the first time in this project.
