This update comes after several outlets mistakenly reported his health condition, whereas he is being treated at the Kauvery hospital in Chennai for his cardiac arrest.

A playwright and theater artist who also wrote and acted in films, Crazy Mohan was widely known for his dialogue writing in theater plays and Tamil films.
A Kalaimamani recipient, some of his best works were with actor Kamal Haasan in films like Michael Madana Kama Rajan (1990), Sathi Leelavathi (1995), Avvai Shanmughi (1996), Thenali (2000), Panchathanthiram (2002), Pammal K. Sambandam (2002) and Vasool Raja MBBS (2004) among others.
