The first schedule of Jilla was wrapped recently in Madurai. The next schedule is set to begin in Chennai. Vijay and Mahat Ragavendra who were not part of the first schedule will be joining the team for this schedule. Mahat had tweeted, "Done with the shoot at Hyderabad. Now back to Chennai. Two more days to go. Will be joining JILLA, can't wait to start shooting. Excited!"

Directed by Nesan, Vijay, Mohanlal and Kajal Agarwal play the lead roles. Music by Imman. The film is produced by R.B. Chowdary.

Bubbly actress Hansika will be appearing on NVOK show in Vijay TV for a special episode. The 'Settai' actor shot for the show yesterday with Prakash Raj. Hansika had tweeted, "Just got done with KBC Tamil NVOK. Won good loads of money and played for a cause. The audience was just amazing. A very well organised team, well managed star vijay. Thank you for having me.Enjoyed ."

Kadhal 2 Kalyanam finally ready for release

Kadhal 2 Kalyanam is a romantic comedy film directed by newcomer Milind Rau starring Arya's brother Sathya and Divya Spandana (Ramya) in the lead roles. The film which was lying in the cans for a long time is finally coming up for release. The theatrical trailer of the film will be released on June 1 and the film will be out in September. Yuvan had scored the music and the album was released in March 2011. The film is produced by Mirchi Movies.

No shooting in Kollywood

The Tamil film industry is on a strike from yesterday (May 28). Film shootings all over Tamil Nadu have come to a standstill. Radhika Sarathkumar has tweeted: “Two people from different unions had a fight, and industry comes to a halt, everyone loses money, time and dates, while the worker fights for police to accept his complaint, they refuse as complain not specific. TFPC not functional and all twiddle thumbs!”

Tami Film Producers Council (TFPC) has called for an emergency meet today (May 29) to discuss the issue.

Siva Karthikeyan's next reaches final leg

Sivakarthikeyan and Sathyraj have teamed up together for a film titled 'Varutha Padatha Valibar Sangam'. Sri Divya pairs opposite Sivakarthikeyan. The film is directed by Ram Jay, a former associate of Rajesh. The film is said to be an out and out comedy entertainer. The film shooting is inching towards completion with just few more days of shoot left. Music by Imman. The film is produced by S. Madhan of Escape Artists Motion Pictures.

Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai Again - Official Trailer

Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai Again is directed by Milan Luthria and produced by Ekta Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor. It is a sequel to the 2010 hit film Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai.
