Jilla first schedule wrapped

Jilla first schedule wrapped

The shooting of Jilla is progressing at a brisk pace. The first schedule of the film which began in mid-May was wrapped recently. The team returned to Chennai after completing 14 days shoot in Karaikudi and Madurai. Mohanlal, Poornima Bhagyaraj and Kajal were part of the first schedule.

Vijay will join the team for the next schedule which will begin shortly. A huge set is getting ready for next schedule. The film is directed by Nesan. Imman is scoring the music. The makers are targetting a Pongal 2014 release for the film.

Shiva Santhanam's Ya Ya nearning completion

Ya Ya is an upcoming comedy caper starring Shiva, Santhanam in lead roles. The film shooting is in the final stages and is inching towards completion. Dhansika pairs opposite Shiva while 'Kadhal' Sandhya will be seen opposite Santhanam. The film is directed by Rajasekaran, a former associate of director Rajesh.

Pizza 2 - The Villa wrapped

The shooting of 'Pizza 2 - The Villa', the second film in the 'Pizza' series has been wrapped. The film went on floors in April and the shooting has been completed in a very short time. Both Ashok Selvan and Sanchitha Shetty of 'Soodhu Kavvum' fame play the lead roles.

The film touted to be a fantasy thriller is directed by Deepan Chakravarthy. Music by Santhosh Narayanan. The Villa has been shot entirely in Pondicherry and Chennai. The post production work is happening in full swing. The film is produced by Thirukumaran Entertainments jointly with Studio Green.

'Vishwaroopam 2' kickstarts in Thailand!

Kamal Haasan has started shooting for the sequel of Vishwaroopam in Thailand. Some daredevil action sequences are being shot in Thailand. Kamal and Andrea are part of the shoot. The team will shoot some portions in Bangkok and the final schedule will be shot in New Delhi.

Kamal Haasan, Andrea Jeremiah, Pooja Kumar, Rahul Bose and Sekhar Kapur who played the lead roles in Vishwaroopam will also be part of Vishwaroopam 2. Kamal had already shot some portions of the sequel while shooting for Vishwaroopam.

Thillu Mullu is the remake of yesteryear classic cult with the same name starring Shiva, Prakash Raj and Isha Talwar in lead roles. The latest we hear is that Santhanam will be reprising the role played by Kamal Hassan in the original. Santhanam will be doing a cameo in the film. The film shooting has been wrapped. The audio launch of the film is set to happen in Geneva on June 1. Music by Yuvan and MS Vishwanathan.

Ivan Veramathiri climax shoot

The climax shoot of Ivan Veramathiri is currently being shot in Pondicherry. Vikram Prabhu and Ganesh Venkatraman are part of the shoot. Ganesh who plays a cop in the film had tweeted, "Shooting in Pondicherry for a racy car chase sequence for the climax of "Ivan Vera Mathri". Driving in full throttle in my police vehicle" The film is directed by Saravanan of Engeyum Eppothum fame. The film is likely to be wrapped with this schedule.
