Siddharth plays the lead role in director Vasanthbalan's 'Kaaviya Thalaivan'. Mollywood actor Prithivaj has been roped in to play a pivotal role in the film. Actress Anaika Soti will be playing the lead role opposite Siddharth. Anaika's 'Moods Of Anaika' video has been going viral over the Internet. She is also playing the lead in Ram Gopal Varma's 'Satya 2'. 

Kaaviya Thalaivan is a period film which is based upon the real life love story of KB Sundrambal and Kittappa. The pre-production work of the film is currently in progress. Music by A.R Rahman. The film is produced by Sashikanth of Y Not Studios.

Rendavathu Padam gearing up for censor

Rendavathu Padam starring Vimal, Arvind Akash, Richard, Vijayalakshmi and Ramya Nambeesan is directed by CS Amudhan of Tamil Padam fame. The film touted to be a comedy thriller is getting ready to face the censor. CS Amudhan had tweeted, "Rendavathu Padam is in the last stages of post production. Film should be ready for certification in a few days."

Mariyaan facing censor today

Mariyaan starring Dhanush and Parvathy Menon is directed by Bharath Bala. The film is facing the censor today. The release date of the film is expected to be announced by evening after completing the censor formalities. A.R. Rahman has scored the music.

Sarath completes dubbing for Kochadaiyaan

Kochadaiyaan is one of the most awaited films this year. Sarathkumar who plays a vital role in the film has finished dubbing for the film. Soundarya Ashwin who helms the project had tweeted, "Prince Sengodagan in Kochadaiyaan!!! Sharath uncle finished dubbing today". The trailer of the film is expected to be unveiled soon. The post production work is currently in progress. 

Santhanam confirmed in Mariyaadhai Ramanna remake

Santhanam is set to play the lead role in the remake of Telugu film 'Mariyaadhai Ramanna' to be directed by Srinath. Some sections of media reported that Siva Karthikeyan has been approached to play the lead role instead of Santhanam.

Udayanidhi Stalin has cleared the air in his mircroblog. He had tweeted, "Santhanam is doing the lead role in the Tamil remake of Mariyaadhai Ramanna! Shooting from August!"  Santhanam is producing this movie on a first copy basis along with PVP Cinemas.
