Sundarpandian director bags one more film
Director S.R. Prabakaran of 'Sundarapandian' fame is currently busy with the shooting of Idhu Kathirvelan Kadhal starring Udhayanidhi Stalin and Nayanthara. The shooting is currently happening in Coimbatore. Music by Harris Jayaraj and the film is produced by Red Gaint Movies.
S.R. Prabakaran will also be directing another film for Red Giant Movies. Udayanidhi Stalin had tweeted, "Happy to announce that director SR Prabhakaran sir will be directing his next film after Idhu Kathirvelan Kadhal with Red Giant! Cast and crew not yet finalised!"

Mariyaan release postponed?
Mariyaan starring Dhanush and Parvathy Menon directed by Bharath Bala was expected to hit the screens on May 31. The film release is now likely to be pushed to June. According to sources, the first copy of the film is not yet ready. Mariyaan is yet to be censored and the release date would be fixed only after completing the censor formalities.
Jayam Ravi to do Vijay's film?
Director Seeman and Vijay were set to work together on a film titled 'Pagalavan' to be produced by Kalaipuli S Dhanu. The project however didn't take off due to various reasons. Director Seeman was in the lookout for a suitable lead for the film. The latest we hear is that Jayam Ravi who had heard the script seems to have agreed to do the film. An official announcement is expected soon.
Karthi to celebrate his birthday with AAAR team
Karthi is turning a year older tomorrow (May 25). The first look teaser of Biriyani will be released tomorrow for his birthday. The actor is currently in Kumbakonam shooting for All in All Azhagu Raja (AAAR). He will be celebrating his birthday on the sets of AAAR. The team has arranged for a small birthday party for Karthi in the evening. AAAR is directed by Rajesh starring Karthi, Kajal and Santhanam in lead roles.
SRK's 'Chennai Express' Title Track Teaser
Shahrukh Khan and Deepika Padukone play the lead roles in Chennai Express directed by Rohit Shetty. Chennai Express is about the story of a man who travels from Mumbai to Rameshwaram and what happens during the journey forms the crux of the movie. SP Balasubramaniam has returned back to Bollywood after a long gap of 15 years. He has sung the title track of the film.
