Remya Nambeesan sings for Vijay Sethupathi
Rummy starring Vijay Sethupathy, Gayathrie, Aishwarya and Soori is directed by debutant Director Balakrishnan. Rummy is a village-based, college love story set in the backdrop of 1980’s. Imman is scoring the music. Remya Nambeesan of ‘Pizza’ fame will be recording her voice for a song in the film. Interestingly Vijay Sethupathy and Remya had played the lead roles in ‘Pizza’. Remya has sung songs in Malayalam films.

Director Ram of Katradhu Tamizh fame is eagerly awaiting the release of his second film 'Thangameengal' produced by Gautham Menon. The director has started working on the script of his next film after Thangameengal. Andrea has been roped in to play the lead role in the film. Andrea will be donning three different get-ups in the film. The rest of the cast and crew are being finalised. The story is about the current generation's idea of love.
Kochadaiyaan not at Cannes?
Superstar's 'Kochadaiyaan' is one of the most awaited films this year. The trailer of the film was reported to be launched at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival. The latest we hear is that the trailer launch will not happen at the Cannes. The makers who had initially decided to promote the film at an International arena seemed to have called off the plan.
Regarding the trailer, Soundarya who is helming the project had tweeted, “Trailer shaping out well. Working on more surprises. All efforts are going in to release it asap .Will keep u posted !!” She has however not mentioned anything regarding the trailer launch at Cannes.
X: One film, 11 directors
'X' is a filmmaker's journey through his past encounters with his 10 ex-girlfriends as he spends one unusual night at a film festival after he meets a mysterious girl who intriguingly seems to have something to do with every woman in his life.
The eleven directors who are collaborating on the film have worked on different films in the past and have been successful in their ventures. Thiagarajan Kumararaja (Aaranya Kaandam), Sudhish Kamath, Abhinav Shiv Tiwari, Anu Menon, Hemant Gaba , Pratim D Gupta , Q, Raja Sen, Rajshree Ojha, Sandeep Mohan Suparn Verma will write and direct individual segments. Writer-director K (Rajat Kapoor) plays the lead role.
Sanjay Dutt's 'Policegiri' Teaser
Policegiri is the Hindi remake of ‘Saamy’ directed by KS Ravi Kumar with Sanjay Dutt and Prachi Desai in the lead roles. The film is set to hit the screens on July 5. Checkout the first look teaser of the film!
