Santhanam joins Udhayanidhi for IKK

Two schedules of 'Idhu Kathirvelan Kadhal' (IKK) starring Udayanidhi Stalin and Nayantara has been wrapped. The next schedule has started today in Coimbatore. Udhayanidhi Stalin has tweeted, "Reached Coimbatore! Starting Idhu Kathrivelan Kadhal second schedule from today with Santanam! Long schedule but it's going to be good fun!" IKK is directed by S.R. Prabakaran. Music by Harris Jayaraj.

Srikanth and Santhanam in a sci-fi comedy

Srikanth and Santhanam will be working together for a new project titled Nambiar. Sunaina plays the female lead. The film will be directed by debutant Ganesh, a former associate of SS Rajamouli. Music by Vijay Antony. The film is touted to be a sci-fi comedy with lots of twists and turns.

Lawrence dons 6 gets-ups for Muni 3


The shooting of Muni 3, the third installment of Raghava Lawrence's horror series Muni is currently in progress. Taapsee Pannu plays the female lead in this installment. The film we hear will have 6 ghosts. ‘Kanchana’ (Muni 2) had three ghosts but this time Lawrence has increased the count. Lawrence will be seen in six different get-ups in the film.

Vaibhav joins Nayan for 'Kahaani' remake

Nayanthara is playing the lead role as ‘Anamika’ in the Tamil- Telugu remake of ‘Kahaani’ directed by Shekar Kammula. The latest to join the cast is Vaibhav Reddy and Pasupathy who have been offered pivotal roles. The film shooting began recently in Hyderabad. The film is jointly produced by Endemol India, Logline Productions and Select Media Holdings.

GV Prakash at Cannes

GV Prakash Kumar is participating for the very first time at the Cannes film festival for the premiere of Ugly directed by Anurag Kashyap. The film has been selected to be screened as part of the Director’s Fortnight. GV Prakash who has scored the music had tweeted, "At the holy city of world cinema Cannes, France. Screening premiere of Ugly today."

The film features actors Ronit Roy, Tejaswini Kolhapure, Vinit Kumar Singh and Vipin Sharma in pivotal roles. Ugly is a dark psychological thriller on the surface and emotional drama within. 

Ghanchakkar Babu song from Ghanchakkar

Ghanchakkar is an upcoming heist comedy film directed by Rajkumar Gupta starring Viday Balan and Emraan Hashmi. The film produced by UTV is expected to release on 21st June. Checkout 'Ghanchakkar Babu' song from the film!
