Dhanush to start his own music label

Dhanush to start his own music label

Following his own production company 'Wunderbar Films', Dhanush is all set to start his own music label under the name 'Wunderbar Studio'. He had tweeted "We have decided to launch our own music label soon under the name 'Wunderbar studio'. Will make an official announcement soon."

Dhanush is eagerly awaiting the release of Mariyaan which is likely to hit the screens on May 31. The film will go for censor in a few days. AR Rahman is busy with the re-recording work.

Vimal and Prasanna team up for Puli Vaal

Puli Vaal is an upcoming Tamil comedy thriller film directed by Marimuthu who earlier directed Kannum Kannum. The film is produced by Sarath Kumar and Listin Stephen. Prasanna, Vimal Iniya, Ananya and Oviya are part of the cast. The film had a formal launch today. Puli Vaal is a remake of the 2011 Malayalam film 'Chaappa Kurishu' directed by Sameer Thahir.

Mohanlal and Poornima pair up after 33 years

The shooting of Vijay's Jilla has started in Madurai. Mohanlal, Kajal and Poornima will be part of the first schedule. Vijay will join the team for the next schedule which begins in June. The film is directed by Nesan. Music by Imman.

Mohanlal and Poornima made their debut together in a Malayalam film Manjil Virinja Pookkal(1980) directed by Fazil, which was a cult classic in Malayalam. The duo never got to work together again. After 33 years, Mohanlal and Poornima will be seen together in Jilla as husband and wife.

Eega flies to Cannes

Eega is flying to Cannes and as well as Shanghai. S.S. Rajamouli directed blockbuster would be screened at Cannes Film Festival's market wing (Marché du Film.) to attract international distributors. Eega will be screened here on May 20th. This is part of Indian Government's drive to market Indian films on International arena. 

SS Rajamouli had tweeted, "We got the official confirmation. Eega has been selected in the panorama section of Shanghai International film festival." The 16th Shanghai International Film Festival (SIFF) is to be held on from 15th June to 23rd June, 2013.

Melliya Saaral song from TVSK

Theeya Velai Seiyyanum Kumaru (TVSK) directed by Sundar C starring Siddharth, Hansika and Santhanam is set to hit the screens in June. Music by Sathya. Listen to Melliya Saaral song from the film!
