Anirudh's next album in June
Anirudh who is extremely happy with the response to his recent album Ethir Neechal is gearing up for his next. He is currently busy with 'Vanakkam Chennai' directed by Kirutiga Udayanidhi. The film is a romantic comedy starring Shiva and Priya Anand in lead roles. The team had recently wrapped the Munnar schedule.
About the audio release, Kirutiga had tweeted, "Audio will be out by June! Anirudh is ardently working on giving his best!" The film is produced by Udhayanidhi Stalin.

Arjun to direct Jai Hind 2
Action King Arjun is all set to don the director's hat again! He will be directing the sequel to his blockbuster film 'Jai Hind'. The film titled 'Jai Hind 2' will be made in Tamil, Telugu and Kannada simultaneously. Surveen Chawla of 'MPMK' fame will pair opposite Arjun. Arjun will also be producing the film.
The film is dedicated to former Indian President Abdul Kalam. The film will be about the current-day education system and its flaws. The movie reflects Kalam's dream that for India to become a superpower, everyone has to be educated.
Gautham Karthik pairs with Rakul Preeth Singh
Gautham will be pairing opposite Rakul Preeth Singh of ‘Thadayara Thakka’ and ‘Puthagam’ fame in the remake of Telugu film 'Ala Modalaindi'. Nani and Nithya Menon played the lead roles in the Telugu version. The film is to be produced by Ravi Prasad Productions and directed by Ravi Thyagarajan. Music by Imman.
Gautham Karthik is currently busy with the shooting of Sippai directed by Saravanan of Silambattam fame. Lakshmi Menon plays the female lead. Music by Yuvan.
Director turns actor again!
Director Karu Palaniappan of 'Parthiban Kanavu' fame made his debut as actor in 'Mandhira Punnagai' which failed to create a mark at the box office. He is set to act in a film again as the lead actor. The film titled Mr and Mrs Kalyanam will be directed by A. Amalraj. The rest of the cast and crew is being finalised.
Karu Palaniappan is currently busy with Jannal Oram starring Vimal, Parthiban and Manisha Yadav. The film is the remake of Malayalam film 'Ordinary'.
Siddharth's 'Something Something' Trailer
Something Something is the Telugu version of Sundar C's comedy caper TVSK. Siddharth and Hansika play the lead roles. Telugu actor Brahmanandam will play the role essayed by Santhanam in the Tamil version. The film is set to hit the screens in June.
Ram Gopal Varma's 'Satya' Trailer
Ramgopal Varma is back with the sequel of his iconic film 'Satya' released in 1998. Sharwanand is playing the lead role in the Telugu version. Amitriyaan, Anika Soti and Anjali Gupta are the other main leads in the film. Music is composed by Nitin and Sanjeev Darshan. The film will release in Tamil as 'Naanthaanda'.
