Director Mohan Raja who has made films with actors like Vijay, Sivakarthikeyan and his own brother Jayam Ravi has chosen to debut his son through another director. The director's kid son Pranav Mohan will be seen for the first time on screen in Vijay Antony's Tamilarasan, which will be directed by Babu Yogeshwaran of Dass fame.

Tamilarasan is a production venture of SNS Movies, and the film has Ilayaraja for music, RD Rajasekar for cinematography and Bhuvan Srinivasan for the edits. Anl Arasu is choreographing the stunts for this film.
