American rapper and singer T-Pain released a track titled That's Yo money a couple of days ago and the track seems to have a melody music in the background, which if listened to keenly sounds very similar to the famous Aashiqui 2 song Tum Hi Ho. Following That's Yo Money's release on YouTube, Aashiqui 2 director Mohit Suri took to twitter to point out the similarities and tagged all the musicians involved in the making of his film's album.
Dunno why but this seems familiar 🙈🙈🙈 #aashiqui2 #tumhiho @TPAIN https://t.co/69NJvAujsT . It’s a melody from Mithun’s song buddy @Mithoon11 @raiisonai @itsBhushanKumar

Later composer Mithoon, one of three names who worked on Aashiqui 2's music claimed that Tum Hi Ho track was his original and informed T-Pain via twitter that T-series, the company that holds the audio rights is looking into it.
Sir, the melody that you have used in your new song is my original work for a previously released Hindi film..The Label is looking into this.#tumhiho #Aashiqui2 https://t.co/5fnDf4sfg7

Now, That's Yo Money has been made unavailable on YouTube following the copyright claim by T-series, though the snippet that T-Pain released on his own Instagram account is available. Listen to both tracks here:
