Kangana Ranaut starrer Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi, featuring the actress as Rani Laxmi Bai is gearing up for a worldwide release on January 25, 2019 and it had its trailer release today.
Jointly directed by Krish Jagarlamudi and Kangana herself, the film chronicles the journey of Jhansi's queen from Manikarnika to Rani Laxmi Bai and the epic saga of her putting up a brave front against the British.
The film is jointly produced by Kamal Jain and Zee Studios and will meet Bal Thackrey's biopic at the box-office.
