Vikram Prabhu starts shooting for Sigaram Thodu

Vikram Prabhu starts shooting for Sigaram Thodu

Vikram Prabhu who made a successful debut with Kumki has started shooting for his third film 'Sigaram Thodu'. The shooting of his second film 'Ivan Veramathiri' is also in progress. Sigaram Thodu is directed by Gaurav of "Thoonganagaram" fame. Monal Gajjar plays the female lead. The film is produced by UTV and music by Imman. Vijay Ulaganath handles the camera. 

Dhananjayan of UTV had tweeted, "The shooting of Sigaram Thodu commenced today (May 5) at Chandidevi Temple at Haridwar in North. The team commenced the shoot at northern peaks. Sigaram Thodu will have Sathyaraj in a pivotal role, 'Ethirneechal' Satish, Kovai Sarala and a few more important artistes"

Hansika's role in Vaalu

Vaalu is a comedy entertainer directed by debutant Vijay Chandar starring Simbu, Hansika, Santhanam and VTV Ganesh. The film shooting is currently in progress. Hansika, we hear, plays a sales girl in Spencer's. A single track from the film 'Love Endravan Nee Yaruda' was released in February. Thaman has scored the music. The film is produced by NIC Arts. 

Hansika's upcoming projects include TVSK, Biriyani, Singam 2, Vaalu and Vettaimannan.

Niveda Thomas joins Vijay's Jilla

Director Nesan and his team is all set to begin the shoot of Jilla this month. Vijay, Mohanlal, Kajal Agarwal play the lead roles. Mahat Raghavendra, Poornima Bhagyaraj, Thambi Ramaiah, Soori and VTV Ganesh play supporting roles. The latest to join the cast is Nivedha Thomas. She plays a key role as Vijay's sister. She will be seen as a strong willed girl who influences her brother in a positive way and brings about some good changes in his life. Music by Imman.

Shiva and Priya Anand shoot in Munnar

The shooting of Kirutiga Udhayanidhi's debut film 'Vanakkam Chennai' with Shiva and Priya Anand in lead roles is progressing well. The team is currently shooting in Munnar. Priya Anand has tweeted, "Really Enjoying Our Outdoor Schedule in Munnar!" Santhanam plays a pivotal role. Music by Anirudh. The first look teaser of the film was released recently. Vanakkam Chennai is produced by Udhayanidhi Stalin.
