Vijay signs a film with Aascar Ravichandran?

Vijay signs a film with Aascar Ravichandran?

Vijay has finally wrapped the shooting of Thalaivaa directed by A.L. Vijay. Amala Paul plays the female lead and music by G.V. Prakash Kumar. The audio is expected to be out by the end of May. Buzz is the film is likely to hit the screens on Vijay's birthday which falls on June 22. 

Vijay will next start shooting for Jilla to be directed by Nesan from mid May. Vijay, Mohanlal and Kajal Agarwal play the lead roles. Music by Imman. 

The latest we hear is that Vijay will be doing a film with Aascar Ravichandran who had earlier produced 'Velayudham'. The project is likely to roll after Vijay wraps Jilla. The rest of the cast and crew are yet to be finalised.

Surya who wrapped Hari's 'Singam 2' is all set to begin work on Dhruva Natchathiram to be directed by Gautham Menon. A formal pooja was held today at Gautham Menon's office in Chennai. Surya was present at the pooja. The first look posters have already generated a lot of curiosity about the film's storyline. Music by A.R. Rahman.

Ace director to play Vishal's father

Vishal is currently busy shooting for Pattathu Yaanai directed by Bhoopathy Pandian where he pairs opposite Aishwariya Arjun. He is next set to start shooting for Pandianadu to be directed by Suseenthiran. Lakshmi Menon will play the female lead. Ace director Bharathirajaa will be playing Vishal's father in the film. The film will start rolling from May 15 in Madurai. The film is produced by Vishal's production house 'Vishal Film Factory'.

Jiiva off to Mumbai

Jiiva has returned to Chennai after wrapping a schedule of 'Endrendrum Punnagai' in Switzerland. The actor will be next joining the team of Yaan in Mumbai. Director Ravi K Chandran who makes his directorial debut with Yaan has tweeted, "Heading to Mumbai. One more schedule of YAAN. Looking forward to shoot with Jiiva and Thulasi." Music by Harris Jayaraj. The film is produced by Elred Kumar.

Vimal is conductor; Parthiepan is driver

Jannal Oram is the Tamil remake of Malayalam film Ordinary directed by Karu Pazhaniappan starring Parthiban, Vimal, Vidharth, Poorna and Manisha Yadav. The story is about a bus driver and conductor and their everyday journey on the bus. The bus travels from Palani to Pannaikaadu and there are villagers who regularly travel by it. There is an unexpected turn of events. Vimal is the conductor and Parthiban plays the role of a bus driver.

'Iruvar Ondranal' Teaser

'Iruvar Ondranal’ is an upcoming film, directed by Anbu G. Cinematography is handled by Kumar Sridhar and music for the film is scored by Guru Krishnan. Watch the official teaser!
