Dhanush on Mariyaan Trailer release

Dhanush on Mariyaan Trailer release

Mariyaan starring Dhanush and Parvathi Menon in lead roles is directed by Bharath Bala. Dhanush has confirmed that the trailer of the film will be released today evening at 6 pm on Youtube. A single track ‘Nenje Ezhu’ sung by A.R. Rahman will be unveiled on May 3. Mariyaan is expected to be released this summer. The film is produced by Aascar Films. A.R. Rahman has scored the music.

Two heroines for Gautham Karthik

Gautham Karthik, Lakshmi Menon starrer 'Sippai' directed by Saravanan of 'Silambattam' fame went on floors last week. The latest addition to the cast is Vibha of 'Madhil Mel Poonai' fame. Vibha will be playing an important role. The film set in the backdrop of college is touted to be a commercial youth entertainer. Telugu producer G.V.G Raju is producing the film, which has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja.

Anirudh to release 'Neram' audio

Neram is a Malayalam / Tamil bilingual film starring Nivin Pauly and Nazriya Nazim in the lead roles directed by debutant Alphonse Putharen. The audio is set to be launched today. Udhayanidhi Stalin had tweeted, "NERAM! Audio release and press meet today! First audio cd will be released by Anirudh." Music by debutant Rajesh Murugesan.

Vidharth and Soori team up

Vidharth of Mynaa fame and 'Parotta' Soori will be teaming up for a film titled 'Pattaya Kelappanum Pandiya'. Manisha Yadav of Vazhakku En 18/9 fame will be playing the female lead. The film is directed by S.P. Rajkumar and music by Arul Dev. The film starts rolling from today. The shooting will take place in Coimbatore and Kerala.

Animated adventure comedy 'Epic' to release in India before US

Hollywood film 'Epic', a 3D animated adventure comedy, will hit Indian screens on May 17, a week before it opens in the US. The Fox Star Studios’ fantasy movie is based on William Joyce’s book The Leaf Men and the Brave Good Bugs. The film is directed by Chris Wedge, the director of Ice Age (2002) and Robots (2005). It stars the voices of Colin Farrell, Josh Hutcherson, Amanda Seyfried, Christoph Waltz, Aziz Ansari, Pitbull and Beyonce Knowles.

Apna Bombay Talkies Title song

A special song put together to celebrate 100 years of Indian Cinema brings 20 leading stars of Bollywood together. Titled 'Apna Bombay Talkies' the song features Aamir Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Madhuri Dixit, Kareena Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone among others. The song is part of 'Bombay Talkies' film which has brought four directors- Zoya Akhtar, Anurag Kashyap, Karan Johar and Dibakar Banerjee- together to direct four short stories within a film.
