Ajith-Vishnuvardhan film teaser on May 1?
The latest buzz is that the teaser of Ajith's untitled film, directed by Vishnuvardhan, might be released on May 1, to coincide with Ajith's birthday. The film title is also expected to be revealed on that day.
Recently, music director Yuvan Shankar Raja had worked on the teaser of the film. Arya, Nayantara and Taapsee play pivotal roles in the film.

Anjali shoots for Singam 2
The shooting of Singam 2 is on the verge of completion. Anjali will appear in an item song in the film with Suriya. The 'Settai' girl joined the team in Tuticorin for the song shoot. Anjali had earlier shot for the song but the song shoot was not completed due to rains. The pending song sequence was wrapped in a day. Suriya, Anuskha and Hansika play the lead roles. The film is directed by Hari.
Neram audio launch on May 1
Neram is a Malayalam / Tamil bilingual film starring Nivin Pauly and Nazriya Nazim in the lead roles directed by debutant Alphonse Putharen. The audio will be launched on May 1. Music by debutant Rajesh Murugesan. Pistah song from the film is already topping the charts. Udhayanidhi Stalin's 'Red Gaint Movies' has acquired the Tamil Nadu theatrical rights of the film. The film is likely to hit the screens on May 10.
Schedule wrap for Jiiva and Trisha
Endrendrum Punnagai starring Jiiva, Trisha, Vinay, Santhanam and Andrea is directed Ahmed. The team had been shooting in Switzerland for the past two weeks. Trisha has tweeted, "And it's a wrap for 'Endrendrum Punnagai' in Switzerland. Scorching sun,biting cold,rain and snow. Endured it all!" Music by Harris Jayaraj. The film will be released by Udhayanidhi Stalin's 'Red Giant Movies'.
Nayanthara starts shooting for Kahaani remake
Vidya Balan starrer ‘Kahaani’ which released in 2012 was declared a hit at the Box Office. Vidya Balan played the role of Vidya Bagchi in this woman-centric thriller film. The film is being remade in Tamil and Telugu with Nayanthara in the lead role. Directed by Shekar Kammula, the film went on floors yesterday (April 28) in Hyderabad.
Nayanthara’s character name is said to be Anamika and she would sporting a completely different look. The film is set in the backdrop of Hyderabad. The film is jointly produced by Endemol India, Logline Productions and Select Media Holdings.
