Yuvan who is scoring the music for Ajith's 53rd film directed by Vishnuvaradhan has updated in his microblog on the album status. He has tweeted, "Thala 53 three songs over. Think after a long time we will have a mass song for Thala intro sung by Shankar Mahadevan." The film shoot is almost complete except for a couple of songs. The film title is expected to be announced on May 1 on Ajith's birthday. 

Ajith is shooting for his next film directed by Siruthai Siva in Hyderabad. Tamanna plays the female lead. Music by Devi Sri Prasad.

Dhanush's Raanjhnaa trailer release confirmed

The trailer of ‘Raanjhnaa’ starring Dhanush and Sonam Kapoor will release tomorrow (April 24). Sonam had tweeted, “The theatrical trailer of Raanjhnaa releasing at 12 am IST 24th April. Countdown begins” The film is directed by Anand L. Rai and music has been scored by A R Rahman.

The shooting of Irandam Ulagam directed by Selvaragavan starring Arya and Anushka was wrapped recently. The post production and VFX work is in progress. Harris Jayaraj who is composing the music has tweeted, "Thanks for your patience on "Irandam Ulagam". The album should hit the stands and the Apple store by next month." This is the first time that Selvaraghavan and Harris Jayaraj are working together and expectations are therefore very high on this film's music. 

Nagaraja Cholan MA MLA out of May 1 race

'Nagaraja Cholan MA MLA' is directed by Manivannan starring Sathyaraj, Seeman, Raghuvannan, Mrudala and Komal Sharma in lead roles. The film will hit the screens on May 10 instead of May 1 as reported earlier. The film has been censored with an 'U' certificate. Music by James Vasanthan.

Three films Ethir Neechal, Soodhu Kavvum and Moondru Per Moondru Kadhal are clashing at the Box Office on May 1.
