Sundar C's comedy caper 'Theeya Vela Seiyyanum Kumaru' (TVSK) is set to hit the screens in May. Siddharth, Hansika, Santhanam and Ganesh Venkatraman play the lead roles in TVSK. The film is likely to be wrapped soon. The team had recently completed a schedule in Japan. Sathya of 'Engeyum Eppothum' fame has scored the music. The audio will be launched on May 2. TVSK is produced by Khusboo Sundar joinlty with UTV.

Karthi's AAAR movie second schedule begins

Karthi after completing the Hyderabad schedule of Biriyani has joined Rajesh's All in All Azhagu Raja (AAAR) team for the next schedule. The second schedule began today in Pollachi. Karthi, Kajal Agarwal and Santhanam play the lead roles. Music by Thaman. Cinematographer Sakthi Saravanan has tweeted, "Azaguraja starts today. Kajal dancing on a black rock with bare feet." Movie is produced by Studio Green.

Nagaraja Cholan MA MLA censored

Amaidhi Padai 2 titled 'Nagaraja Cholan MA MLA' is directed by Manivannan starring Sathyaraj, Seeman, Raghuvannan, Mrudala and Komal Sharma in lead roles. The film is the sequel to Amaidhi Padai released in 1994. Music score by James Vasanthan. The film has been censored with a clean 'U' certificate and is set to hit the screens on May 1.

Siva Karthikeyan's 'Ethir Neechal', Vasanth's 'Moondur Per Moondhru Kadhal' and Vijay Sethupathi's 'Soodhu Kavvum' are also scheduled to hit the screens on the same date.

Trisha signs new film

Trisha has reportedly signed her next film with director K Pandiyan of 'Priyam' fame. The movie will revolve around three friends and the bonding between them. Poonam Bajwa will play one of the friends of Trisha and the third leading lady is being finalized. The movie will be produced by Tollywood producer PVR Raju and music is by Imman. An official announcement is expected to come out soon.

Jayam Ravi back to Nimirndhu Nil

Jayam Ravi has joined the sets of Samuthrakani's 'Nimirnthu Nil' for a month long schedule. Amala Paul plays the female lead. The film is a bilingual shot in Tamil and Telugu simultaneously. Nani plays the lead in the Telugu version. Music by G.V. Prakash. Jayam Ravi plays dual role in the film as a youngster and a middle aged man. The shooting of his other film Boologam is also in progress.
