Dhanush dubs his own voice for Raanjhnaa
Dhanush is making his Bollywood debut with Raanjhnaa directed by Anand L Rai. Sonam Kapoor pairs opposite Dhanush. The 'Kolaveri' actor has dubbed his own voice for Raajhnaa. He had tweeted, "In mumbai for Raanjhanaa. Dubbed in Hindi. A new superb experience. Can't wait for you guys to listen to it. Soon trailer." Dhanush who was not familiar with Hindi had taken all efforts to learn the language before the film shooting commenced. A.R. Rahman has scored the music. The film is scheduled to release on June 28.

The couple who had postponed the wedding owing to work commitments are finally tying the knot this year. The wedding and reception will take place in Chennai at the Mayor Ramanathan Chettiar Hall.
Legendary music director T K Ramamurthy passes away
Yesteryear legendary music director T K Ramamurthy (91) died here today following brief illness. The veteran composer, breathed his last this morning at a hospital. The MS Viswanathan-Ramamurthy duo had composed music for a number of films. Later, Ramamurthy parted ways with Viswanathan in the mid-60s and composed music for a few films. Ramamurthy had won several accolades and also the prestigious Kalaimamani award from the State Government.
Three trailers screened with Udhayam NH4
Udhayam NH4 directed by debutant Mani Maaran starring Siddharth and Ashritha Shetty is set to hit the screens on April 19. The trailers of 3 films will be screened during the interval of the film. Udhayanidhi Stalin who is releasing the film has tweeted, "NERAM trailer, VANAKKAM CHENNAI teaser and THAGARAARU trailer with UDHAYAM NH4 from 19th!" Udhayam NH4 is produced by Dhayanidhi Azhagiri and Vetrimaran.
SC grants Sanjay Dutt four more weeks to surrender
The Supreme Court on Wednesday granted Sanjay Dutt four more weeks to surrender and undergo his remaining prison term of 42 months in the 1993 Mumbai serial blasts case. Sanjay Dutt had sought a six-month extension to allow him to complete shooting of seven films worth Rs.278 crore. The apex court granted partial relief to the actor on "humanitarian" grounds, a day before the deadline for his surrender ended on April 18. The court said that the actor would not be entitled to any further extension of time hereafter.
