Udhayam NH4 gearing up for a big release

Udhayam NH4 gearing up for a big release

Udhayam NH4 directed by Mani Maaran starring Siddharth and Ashritha Shetty is set to hit the screens on April 19. The film's trailer has increased the curiosity quotient amongst audience and the songs are topping the charts. Udhayam NH4 will be releasing in around 250 screens in Tamil Nadu. The promotions for the film have kickstarted in full swing. The film is produced by Vetrimaran and Dayanidhi Azhagiri and released by Red Giant Movies. Music by G.V. Prakash.

Radha Mohan's 'Gouravam' starring Allu Sirish, Yami Gautham and Prakash Raj is also set to hit the screens on April 19.

Ajith's 'Valai' yet to complete

Ajith is currently in Hyderabad shooting for his 54th film directed by Siruthai Siva. Tamanna plays the female lead. The film is produced by Vijaya Productions. Music by Devi Sri Prasad.

On the other hand, Ajith’s film with Vishnuvaradhan tentatively titled ‘Valai’ is not yet complete. The film has been almost wrapped except for a couple of songs. The team is planning to shoot the songs in foreign locations. Yuvan Shankar Raja has scored the music. 

Atharva to team up with 'Naan' director?

Atharva who was appreciated for his stunning performance in Bala's 'Paradesi' is next set to team up with director Jeeva Shankar for a new project. Jeeva Shankar made his directorial debut in Vijay Antony's 'Naan'. While his first film was a thriller, his next film is touted to be a love story. The film will be produced by Escape Artists Motion Pictures and will start rolling in June.

Veteran playback singer P B Srinivas passes away

Veteran playback singer PB Srinivas passed away on Sunday. Srinivas (82) was not keeping well for the past few days. Popularly known as PBS, the veteran singer lent his voice in all four South Indian languages besides Hindi. He was the playback singer behind Kannada superstar Rajkumar and Tamil veteran Gemini Ganesan. Srinivas is survived by two sons and daughter.

A native of Andhra Pradesh, his last song was in Tamil film 'Ayirathil Oruvan' in 2010. Srinivas was honoured with various awards including the state government's Kalaimamani Award.
