The first song 'Gold Tamba' from Batti Gul Meter Chalu has been released by the makers. The song has been picturised on the lead pair Shahid Kapoor and Shradda Kapoor. The song sung by Nakash Aziz is composed by Anu Malik. The lyrics has been penned by Siddharth and Garima.

The trailer of Batti Gul Meter Chalu was launched recently and has got good response from the critics and audience. Directed by Shree Narayan Singh, the film revolves around power shortage and high electricity bill charges levied despite lower consumption. 

Shradhha Kapoor and actress Yami Gautham play the leading ladies. Batti Gul Meter Chalu is a joint production venture of  Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Shree Narayan Singh, Nitin Chandrachud, Kusum Arora and Nishant Pitti. The film is set to hit the screens on September 21, 2018.
