There were a lot of speculations regarding the biopic of late Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa, who also had an illustrious film career before she joined politics. It has now been officially announced that director Vijay will be helming this project that will go on floors on February 24 next year, which happens to be the birthday of Jayalalithaa. The first look of the project is also expected to be released on the same day.

The biopic will be produced by Vibri Media, the company which is currently producing the biopic on NTR. The rest of the cast and crew will be announced shortly and the movie will be made in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi.
