Gautam Kurup who played the role of a baddie in Vijay's 'Thuppakki' has been roped in to play a significant role in Jilla. Vijay who is current shooting for Thalaivaa in Australia will start shooting for Jilla from next month. Vijay, Mohanlal and Kajal Agarwal play the lead roles. The film will be helmed by Nesan and music by Imman. Gautham Kurup's upcoming film in Tamil Puthiya Thiruppangal is set to hit the screens this week.

Udhayam NH4 director signs his next

Udhayam NH4 is directed by debutant Manimaaran, a former assistant of Vetrimaran. Manimaaran has signed his next film with Dayanidhi Azhagiri's 'Meeka Entertainments'. Dayanidhi had tweeted, "Really happy to announce that Mani Maaran and Meeka Entertainment will be teaming up again for an exciting script.Excitement levels are up!"

Udhayam NH4 is an action thriller starring Siddharth and Ashritha Shetty in lead roles. The film's trailer has received good response and the music is topping the charts. Music score by G.V. Prakash. The film is jointly produced by Dayanidhi Azhagiri and Vetrimaran.

Rattinam director's next

Director KS Thangasamy made his directorial debut with Raattinam movie. The movie featured newcomers Laguvaran and Swati in the lead roles and had received positive response from the audience. The director is all set to begin his next film titled 'Ettuthikkum Madhayanai' which will also star newcomers. The film will start rolling soon.

Kochadaiyaan's first look on April 14?

Superstar's 'Kochadaiyaan' is one of the most awaited films. The latest buzz is that the makers of the film are planning to release the first look teaser / poster of the film on April 14 for Tamil New Year Day. There is no official confirmation yet. The trailer of the film is set to be launched at the Cannes Film Festival in May. The film is touted to be India's first motion capture film in 3D. A.R. Rahman has scored the music. Kochadaiyaan is jointly produced by Eros International and Media One Global Entertainment.

Foxstar's new project Cuckoo

Foxstar which produced movies like Engeyum Eppothum and Vathikuchi joinlty with A.R. Murugadoss is all set to roll out new projects in Kollywood. The next project titled 'Cuckoo' will be directed by Raju Murugan, a popular columnist in a leading Tamil weekly. The film is expected to kickstart soon.
