That the iconic Telugu super-hit film Arjun Reddy that won immense critical acclaim is being remade in Hindi is a known news. Shahid Kapoor will be reprising the role of Vijay Deverakonda in the Hindi remake of Arjun Reddy. The film makers have retained the original title "Arjun Reddy" for the remake version as well. The film will go on floors this month (August) and is slated for release on June 21, 2019. The production house T-Series shared the news on its Twitter page.

The Hindi version will be directed by Sandeep Vanga who directed the original Telugu film. The director is all set to make his directorial debut in Bollywood with this film. The film is also being remade in Tamil as Varma by director Bala with Chiyaan Vikram’s son Dhruv as the lead.
