As reported earlier, Producer SR Prabhu's Dream Warrior Pictures will be bankrolling Sibiraj's next film which has been titled Vattam. The film is directed by Kamalakannan of Madhubanakadai fame who is returning to direction after 6 years. The story of the film is set in the backdrop of Coimbatore. SR Prabhu who has produced blockbusters like Madras, Joker, Theeran and Aruvi is currently producing Suriya's NGK.

Sibi’s last outing Sathya (Tamil remake of Telugu hit Kshanam) which hit the screens in 2017 garnered lot of appreciation for him. Sibiraj has also wrapped the shoot of action thriller Ranga directed by newcomer Vinod. Nikhila Vimal plays the leading lady.
