Over the weekend, the trailer of DC Extended Universe's Aquaman, featuring Jason Momoa (as Arthur Curry), Patrick Wilson (as Orm) among others was unveiled. The movie is directed by James Wan and explores how Arthur Curry aka the titular character steps up to lead his underwater people and stop his half-brother Orm from uniting the seven kingdoms - Atlantis, Trench, Brine, Xebellian, the Missing and the Fisherman kingdoms, against lives on the surface and becoming the 'Ocean Master'.
The film is supposed to explore how Arthur Curry teams up with Mera (Amber Heard) in stopping the Ocean Master's antagonism towards human race and who will rule as the King of the seven Kingdoms eventually. However, in a interview post the trailer launch, lead actor Jason Momoa let slip the ending of the movie when he said, ".the last frame of this movie you're going to see him (Aquaman) actually become the thing he was destined to be (King of the united Seven)."
