Rajini's Kochadaiyaan goes to Cannes

The latest news doing the rounds in Kollywood is that Superstar Rajinikanth is likely to attend the Cannes Film Festival to launch the trailer of the much-awaited film Kochadaiyaan. Kochadaiyaan touted to be India's first motion-capture film in 3D is directed by Soundarya Rajnikanth.

The film is co-produced by Eros International. The makers have decided to launch the trailer of the International version at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival which is scheduled to take place between May 15 and 26. The film is set to release in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam, English as well as Japanese.

Murali Manohar, one of the film's producers, has said, "Yes, we will be going to Cannes as we want to promote the film to international audiences as well."

Kochadaiyaan is likely to hit the screens in July. The post production work is happening in full swing. The film stars Rajinikanth, Deepika Padukone, Sarathkumar, Jackie Shroff, Nasser, Shobhan and Adhi. Music by A.R. Rahman.
