Karthi is currently busy shooting for his two films Biriyani directed by Venkat Prabhu and All in All Azhagu Raja (AAAR) directed by Rajesh. The Paiyaa actor after wrapping a schedule of AAAR has joined the Biriyani team in Hyderabad. The latest we hear is that Karthi's next film will be directed by Hari of 'Singam' fame. The film is to be produced by Vendhar Movies. 

Director Hari is currently shooting for Singam 2 starring Surya, Hansika and Anushka. The film is inching towards completion. Music by Devi Sri Prasad.

Vijay not part of Hunger Strike

Kollywood actors are on a one day fast today to show their support for Sri Lankan Tamils. Rajnikanth, Ajith, Surya, Karthi, Dhanush, Jiiva, Vishal, Vikram, Prakash Raj and Jayam Ravi have joined the fast. Vijay who is currently in Australia for Thalaivaa shooting could not attend the Hunger protest. He has sent a letter stating the reason for his absence. Kamal Haasan is expected to arrive soon. There will be no film activity today.

Shruthi opts out of Kamal's film

Shruti Haasan is currently tied up with many projects and had to reject an offer where she would team up with her father Kamal Haasan. Shruthi was approached to play a key role in an upcoming Tamil film Bitter Chocolate to be directed by Kamal. The pretty lass had tweeted, "Right now I'm a part of six films super busy and working away! I'm not a part of 'Bitter Chocolate' with my father. I'm both sad and happy to say I have no dates at the moment. Next time"

Shruthi is currently busy with Telugu films Balupu, Yevadu and Race Gurram and has completed the shoot of her Hindi films D-Day and Ramaiya Vasta Vaiya.

NEP girl in Ajith-Siva film

Vidyullekha Raman, who made her debut in 'Neethaane En Ponvasantham', has now bagged a role in Ajith - Siruthai Siva project. She will be pairing up with Santhanam for the third time after NEP and Sundar C's upcoming comedy caper 'Theeya Vela Seiyyanum Kumaru'. Vidyullekha had tweeted "I've been roped in for THALA Ajith's next flick opposite Santhanam directed by Siva!". She will start shooting for Ajith's film from 8th April.

Moodar Koodam First Look Teaser

'Moodar Koodam' is an upcoming film directed by debutante Naveen, who was a former associate of director Pandiraj. The movie features newcomers in the lead roles alongside Oviya and Jayaprakash. The movie is jointly produced by Pasanga Productions and White Shadows Productions. Check out the first look teaser of the film!

Yamla Pagla Deewana 2 Official Trailer

Yamla Pagla Deewana 2 is an upcoming Bollywood action comedy film directed by Sangeeth Sivan, and the sequel to the 2011 hit film, Yamla Pagla Deewana. The film features Sunny Deol, Dharmendra and Bobby Deol from the previous film along with Neha Sharma and Kristina Akheeva. The film is expected to release on 7th June.
