AAAR wraps first schedule

AAAR wraps first schedule

The shooting of All in All Azhagu Raja starring Karthi, Kajal Agarwal and Santhanam directed by Rajesh kick-started this month. The team had been shooting in the suburbs of Pollachi and Coimbatore. The first schedule of the film has been wrapped. The film is said to be a village based romantic comedy. Music by Thaman. 

Karthi will start shooting for 'Biriyani' from tomorrow at Hyderabad. Venkat Prabhu would be shooting some important talkie portions in Hyderabad. Karthi, Hansika and Premgi Amaran play the lead roles. Music by Yuvan.

Deepika takes time out to perform at IPL

Deepika Padukone will be performing at the IPL inauguration this year. Despite a jam-packed shooting schedule, Deepika has taken time out to perform at the opening ceremony of the sixth season of Indian Premier League (IPL) in Kolkata. She is currently shooting in Wai for Chennai Express and takes out two hours every day to practise, after her pack-up. Her performance is being choreographed by Geeta Kapoor.

The opening ceremony will take place on April 2 at the Salt Lake Stadium. Several other A-list actors will be shaking a leg at the opening including Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif. International rapper Pitbull will also perform at the event.

Shiva's wraps Thillu Mullu shoot

Thillu Mullu starring Shiva, Isha Talwar, Prakash Raj and Kovai Sarala is directed by Badri of 'Veerappu' fame. The film shooting has been wrapped. Shiva had tweeted, "We finished Thillu Mullu shooting yesterday. Hope we did justice to the real one."

The film is a remake of yesteryear classic cult 'Thillu Mullu' starring Rajnikanth directed by K. Balachander. Legendary music composer M.S. Viswanathan and Yuvan Shankar Raja will be scoring the music. Film is produced by Vendhar Movies.

Vaibhav starts shooting for Kappal

Vaibhav of 'Mankatha' and 'Goa' fame has started shooting for his next film 'Kappal' directed by Karthik Krish, a former associate of Shankar. Ashritha Shetty who is making her debut in Udhayam NH4 is playing the female lead. The film shooting is progressing well and the team has next planned to shoot few scenes in the the night. Music by Santhosh Narayanan of Pizza fame.

Suda Suda Thooral song from KBKR

Kedi Billa Killai Ranga directed by Pandiraj starring Vimal, Siva Karthikeyan, Bindhu Madhavi and Regina Cassandra hit the screens yesterday. Checkout the video of 'Suda Suda Thooral' song from the film!

 

Vidhya Balan's Ghanchakkar Trailer

UTV Films has released the first official trailer of Viday Balan and Emraan Hashmi starrer Ghanchakkar. Ghanchakkar is an upcoming heist comedy film directed by Rajkumar Gupta. The film is expected to release on 21st June. Checkout the trailer of the film!
